Green Up Milton Weekend
GREEN UP MILTON
May 1-3, 2026

Even as the snow is piling up, there is always time to think about how we can declutter our streets and waterways from litter. The beautiful white snow blankets the litter beneath but once it melts we are reminded that the litter is still there! This waste has blown in from cars, waste bins, trucks, and yards, accumulating along our roadways and waterways. Unfortunately, this litter doesn't just clutter our community—it harms the environment. It clogs drains, pollutes tree limbs, and contaminates our waterways, leaching harmful chemicals into the soil, water, and air. Furthermore, it poses a serious threat to wildlife, as animals can become trapped, entangled, or ingest dangerous materials and toxins
But there's good news! Together, as a community, we have the power to make a difference. Let's take action this Spring with a weekend dedicated to sustainable action.
In partnership with the Milton Department of Public Works (DPW), Sustainable Milton is proud to host Green Up Milton 2026, a special event focused on making our environment cleaner, greener, and safer for all.
Early bird means you're the first batch of volunteers- you get to set some of the first clean up locations for the event! Early Bird clean up locations will be publicized so other volunteers know where people will be cleaning! Later this year during the regular sign up, volunteers can join the same clean up spots or choose new ones.
On this form you will tell us your GREEN UP Team name (if you have one, not required), how many people are in your team, designate a contact person, tell us where you will be cleaning up, and finally where to collect your special GREEN UP bags on Monday May 4th!
Early bird volunteers are the first to set clean-up locations for the event. These locations will be publicized for others to join or folks can choose new spots that maybe in need as we get closer to Spring!
On the form, provide your GREEN UP Team name (optional), estimated team size, contact person, clean-up location, and bag collection point for Monday, May 4th!
