on the First Parish Church Milton UU lawn!!

Standing out together is a visual testament that we care about the climate emergency and community resolve, about environmental justice, about elimination of fossil fuels from our lives, and about municipal response planning locally wherever we live. All are welcomed: show up, drum, chant, learn. BYO posters and percussion.

To demonstrate:

• Commitment - we will work to create Milton's Climate Action Plan 

• Collaboration - we are empowered working together

By the numbers in the Beginning - starting on  December 11th: 

• 35 participants incl. 7 youth (middle school/high school/university) and climate canines

• 7 organizations: First Parish Church Milton UU; Sustainable Milton; Milton for Peace; Milton Select Board; Brookwood Community Farm; Courageous Conversations Towards Racial Justice; First Congregational Church of Milton

• 2 coalitions: Milton Change Makers; Blue Hills Climate Action Coalition

• 4 bell-ringers (Mary Blanchette, Pat Gallivan, Jim May, Hale Smith)

• 5 signage studio artists (Sita Cochran, Phin / Daxton / Indrani Jesser, Zeppelin Grantz)

• 3 percussion leaders (Atticus / Sophie D'Alessandro, Jennie Mulqueen)

• 1 registrar (Louie Pierro)

• 1 Milton Select Board Member (Melinda Collins)

• 2 doz. neon Safety Marshall vests (thank you, CCTRJ for the loan)

• transportation by several EVs, bicycles, on foot (and "conventional")
